I just got some Enigma AV tasks and they are failing.

All my AV tasks fail within 3 to 9 seconds.

Does Enigma AV use AVX instruction set? The Xeon X5570 does not have it and they are failing in that PC. In this other one, with Intel i7-4700MQ it is running correctly.

The Intel X5570 does run the 0.76b tasks correctly, but not Enigma AV

I have a lot of failures on machines that have AVX/AVX2. Scratch that, they all have failed.

It's just a standard build from Visual Studio 2017. AV is just an abbreviation from author's forum name.

It never came to my mind to run it to check for any dependencies. Thank you so much!

Is it possible to put a link to the installer file on the main page with the hardware requirements, similar to what Collatz Conjecture do with their dependencies? Or add a preference option to only do the old style tasks and avoid these? Will help out people running multiple devices to avoid failed tasks :)

It might be possible to rebuild the project with static linking, then installation of the redistributable would not be required. For static lnking, the Runtime Library setting in Visual Studio must be set to "Multi-threaded (/MT)".

For statistics: I have only x64 redistributable installed and works fine.

I've just updated the app to 1.05, this version should fix the problem with missing libraries. There is also default x86_64 app which is about 15% faster.

windows_intelx86 app requires i686 or better CPU. There is almost no performance gain on x86 with SSE or SSE2 enabled (less than 0,5%).

windows_x86_64 app requires 64bit CPU with SSE2.
