Since May 1st my VPS (which is running the web server) was unreachable almost half of the time and it eventually died. The tech support was unable to fix the problem so I decided to move somewhere else. The server now runs on Amazon Lightsail with a new IP address - 34.203.18.49 M4 Project homepage M4 Project wiki |

Good move. I've used Amazon AWS for personal stuff and have never had an issue. Their support is also is also responsive and customer service centric. There is no reason why a VPS should have issues and be down for extended periods of time. If there is an underlying hardware problem, they should be migrating off of it if they are unable to fix it. They either need to replace the components that are failing or replace the entire server. Surely something in the logs alerted them to the problem and if not, then it was time to enable better logging and if it still cannot be resolved, then either get the manufacturer involved or replace it.Just the fact that it could be down for long periods of time, are they even monitoring the servers themselves. |

Old server worked flawlessly for nearly 10 years, it never had any serious issues and downtimes were usually caused by scheduled maintenance windows or hardware/software upgrades. On the 1st of May something broke and it seems like they're unable to fix the problem. AFAIR at some point, years ago, larger company bought the one where I had my service and since then VPS servers are not even listed on their website anymore. Maybe they just had a bunch of VPS servers for old customers with no one maintaining them anymore, and they ran until first serious failure. M4 Project homepage M4 Project wiki |

Glad to see you back up. Was beginning to wonder if you might have joined the list of terminated projects. |

Need Links at TOP or BOTTOM of the pages to the ENIGMA Home Page, Message Board and our Account Page. Currently there are NONE. Also, this Post to Thread box NEEDS TO BE LARGER...Maybe fill the PAGE not some small rectangle like it now. |
