I'm moving the input file generator from main server to download mirror. Once it's done and confirmed working, there will be lots of WUs. M4 Project homepage M4 Project wiki |

It was a bug in the file generator, it added space at the end of the line which then caused md5 errors. I think it's fixed now. M4 Project homepage M4 Project wiki |

What on this this God forsaken Earth does it take to get GPU work? Every time the server shows work available I hammer the thing and have yet to get even one task!!!! Win XP, GT 730, works fine on all other GPU projects. Prefs are correct (Nvidia GPU and even test apps checked). |

Thanks for the reply BC. I am on Win XP with latest available drivers installed as well as MVS 2015 c++. Machine works just fine on Collatz, PrimeGrid, etc. One thing I do notice is that when requesting tasks with the use Nvidia GPU option enabled and the use CPU option disabled, the event log only shows no tasks received. When I enable the use CPU option (and disable the CPU only apps in prefs) I get the same message when tasks are avalible, but when the server runs dry I get an additional entry that states no tasks are available for Nvidia CUDA. |

Ticked the test app box, now it is downloading |

I've had it clicked all along. See another very limited batch is available and still can't get any. Will leave unattended for a very limited time then just move on. Not worth the trouble. Was considering switching dual boot systems back from Linux to crunch until an app was ready for that platform. Glad I didn't bother. |

32 bit. Test app enabled throughout this excruciating endeavor. Reminds me of trying to run ATLAS in VB. If anyone knows where I can get a reasonable copy of Win XP 64 would love to have it!! I only use Linux for dedicated number crunchers. |

The GPU app makes the computer almost unusable, nonresponsive. Is there a way how to limit the GPU usage by, for example, using app_config? Any suggestions? |

Win XP, GT 730, works fine on all other GPU projects. Prefs are correct (Nvidia GPU and even test apps checked). This is just a second day of testing so do not expect everything to work. There is a bug in the Win32 template files which will be fixed later today. M4 Project homepage M4 Project wiki |

Only thing I know of the limit GPU usage is tthrottle with BOINC Tasks which will pause work or reduce clocks(?) if temps get too high. Something like that, I've never used it. AFAIK there isn't something to limit GPU usage to a certain % like there is for CPUs. Enigma should see a record high in points production today with the GPU app out with WU availability. A single day with a GPU can do what many CPU threads took weeks to do. A single task at 2205 points on a GTX1070 now does in 5min what my Nexus 7 tablet with 4 threads took all day to do. |

no GPU WU's available as of now. I see almost 5k ready to send now. No CPU tasks available though. |

no GPU WU's available as of now. i see that also, but my 1080 will not download any. :( is linux the issue?? manual update = 0 GPU tasks. set preferences to GPU, test = yes, all WU types selected and yes to send other type if selected type is not available. what am i missing. this machine chews through GPUGrid, eistein, collats with no issues. |

no GPU WU's available as of now. There are no Linux app versions, only Windows for now. This is for both Enigma AV and Enigma CUDA apps: http://www.enigmaathome.net/apps.php |
