I love the idea of this project, and the top score thingy is really nice too.
The only thing with that is that there's no way to compare that to other people, you never know if your score's any good.
That's why it would be really cool to make a second ranking, by top score in different WU type top scores.
I'm not sure if it's at all possible, but it would be really cool!

Well, theoretically this can be done, but a ranking like that doesn't make sense. Take a look at top 100 hceyz72 results:

7 results so far with the top score (probably from 7 differents participants) and 93 duplicates of the next high score.
Better idea would be to make 'score history' - a ranking based on score and time when it was found, with no duplicates. This is already partially implemented, because you can see the first top score for each wu type at the main page.

yea, something like that would be cool. It doesn't really matter how it is done but I'd like to be able to compare my best score to what others find. Especially cause it obviously gets better but has a random factor, cause theoretically someone with only one WU done could have the best score, but if you crunch this 24/7 of course your odds of finding it are better.

Also, what would the score be if it would be a fully correctly decoded message?

1st broken message score = 6259047

2nd broken message score = 5211199

We're still kinda in the basement, but for awhile there the score kept ratcheting up, then stopped on the awgly's. The hceyz hasn't budged in a looooooong time.

I'd expect at least 3,5M for hceyz72 and 5M for awgly100.
