I still think you will get more attention from other BOINC users if you updated the front page to say we are on the fifth message and the third was cracked in 2013, rather than the strategy you have of teasing people into getting the full story on the forums.

Regardless someone gave me a dying Vista era computer a month ago which I put Xubuntu LTS on and will be working on only Enigma until the end :)

Yeah, you're right, the main page should be updated but there is one problem - propably only TJM has the rights to change this page.

Because of that, the thing you called "teasing" (something more about it? :D) is actually the only way to get to familiarize with E@H.

Good luck on the project, we're closing this message in few months and if TJM is not going to do something else, it's completed.

Agreed, this should be in the front page with whatever we are crunching because it's pretty difficult to keep motivated if you don't see the results.

No no, I'm just collecting data from the "server status" page and I'm creating regression model from them, so that's how I know when we will hit certain percentage.

I don't know what you treat as a "match", if you mean how we know that certain result is a solution, here is the automatic thread which shows the higly scored results (the scores are propably calculated from calculating how many abbreviations placed in the dictionary are in it, but I can't really confirm that)

All I wanted to say was that the regression shows that we will finish computing all of the possible combinations this October. We can finish it earlier, because the solution can be in the every next computed result. After that, we wait for the TJM if he will show up. And that's all.
