... Between 30-45 second for Chrome v.48 on Android KitKat.

Same here - ping to www.enigmaathome.net is around 500 ms - a bit on slow side i think.
Doesnt affect boinc client though.

[edit] btw ie exploder and edge are also affected [edit]
