Windows 10 and BOINC

Boinc 7.4.42 x64 does not play very well with any projects that I looked at. In task manager the CPU was sitting idle for 4:30 out of 5 minutes worst case I have reverted back to 7.2.42 and all is running at 100% again. Not good!! ID: 3522 · Rating: 0 · rate: / Reply Quote

noderaser Send message Joined: 24 Dec 08 Posts: 88 Credit: 1,496,863 RAC: 0	Message 3523 - Posted: 20 Aug 2015, 16:42:15 UTC Last modified: 20 Aug 2015, 16:42:47 UTC I'm running 7.4.42 on two hosts with Windows 10 64-bit, the only issues I've had with BOINC is on one machine; first boot after upgrade, a couple of CPDN tasks throw some Fortran errors that was solved by aborting them and obtaining new tasks. Also, on that same host, the text in BOINC Manager seems to be slightly blurry. No other task-related issues beyond that first one, so far.
