The actual password is not being stored on the server, only its hash, right? Sorry for being paranoid, but this project has so few users, that it might opt for a "simple" approach. |

It doesn't matter. The login doesn't use https, so anyone between you and the site (your ISP, the NSA etc) can see your password anyway ;) |

I was going to be paranoid about my project passwords, but there's just so many it's hard to keep track of random passwords for each project I run. Since I use BOINC Bam! Account Manager, I have to use the same passwords on all the projects anyway. And to be really in-depth, what personal information can someone get from knowing a project password? (for that matter, who would want to steal it) The only information that anyone could get from you is whatever is on your profile, your running tasks, your computers connected, and possibly your e-mail address. Everything except your e-mail is available to the public anyway, so changing the preferences and attaching computers are the only things the password does. |

Ok, I wish to start over. How can I delete my existing account? |
