I've gotten a few of these errors recently. I'm running this project on three hosts and am wondering if there's any reason these have shown up on just one of them. Examples:

Task 83686523

There was a third, but it's gotten cleared from the database, apparently.

It happens when the app does not close in less than 10 seconds after calling boinc_finish. I've seen it happening on hosts running under heavy load, when the system is doing lots of other tasks. The other symptom was very long wait time for the browser window to open (up to 20-30s) after clicking any of the link in the BOINC manager.

Thank you for the feedback, TJM. That host is a 24/7 BOINC cruncher and runs GPU tasks that require a dedicated CPU, so it is under full load. It does seem a little strange though that I haven't seen it generate these errors at other projects (...I don't think!).
