USS Vre'kasht NCC-33187 [Star Trek]



Greetings everyone,

If you're a Star Trek fan and are looking to join a team of that subject,
then you have come to the right place.

ABOUT US:
The USS Vre'kasht NCC-33187 is a chapter of STARFLEET, The International
Star Trek Fan Association, Inc. SFI is dedicated to uniting the fans of Star
Trek as well as pursuing the future envisioned by Gene Roddenberry as
depicted in the Star Trek television series and movies. We are fans
dedicated to keeping Star Trek and everything about it alive and in the
public eye.

Our chapter (ship) is based on a Vulcan designed Federation starship, the
Vre'kasht. The design is based on the Vulcan Surak Class starship and it's
construction was at 40 Eridani-A Shipyards at Vulcan. It's purpose is
Scientific Research. This chapter is based out of Des Moines, Iowa. We are
in Region 6 (Sixth Fleet) of SFI.

Team England has decided to take part in one of the regular competitions at WCG –
Christmas Race 2008

The race runs from 1st December through to midnight on the 24th December.
All team members are invited to take part – the more the merrier!
The team has the opportunity to improve both UK and World rankings on this worthwhile project. All it needs is a small contribution from everyone in the team – perhaps one or two WCG WUs each day while continuing to crunch your own projects. There is a thread in the Team Forum where you can follow progress or find out how to ‘tweak’ your project settings.
The WUs can take up to 8 hrs and the time for validation, strangely enough, is quicker than SETI even though WCG WUs ask for a quorum of 10 or more!
