I started a team challenge for Enigma@home on BOINCstats. Now that the challenge is about to start, the high server load seems to have caused the work generator to pause. Is it possible to increase the threshold that the work generator pauses for the duration of the challenge (9/26 - 10/03)?

My server bucket is now empty.
Can you turn the work tap back on please TJM.
Did you inform TJM of this upcoming challenge Jon.B ?
The BoincStats challenge has now starved us all of work.

i hope they have some work for us so we can see how this works out

OK, that was weird ... on one device I almost ran out of work for Enigma, so I checked the server status ... >plenty of work< but Messages on that device said lots of innacurrate stuff including "no work". I tried a couple of other things without success and just now started up another project.

Without further intervention and after about 100 minutes got new Enigma tasks. Joy!

I haven't time to check all possible causes.

OH, wait, I did note a strange Enigma server overload status that has now cleared.

There was an issue with connection between my servers.

It started just after a scheduled (by service provider) network maintenance, when they restored the connection the server was overloaded for almost a day.

Since the server had a major hardware upgrade recently, I increased the limits for most of the daemons and eventually it was able to catch up, but unfortunately something was wrong with the network, I experienced short outages or bad performance for almost a week.

I need to find a way to distribute longer WUs. Currently the processing rate is so high that it basically saturates my VPN connection between sites.
