Hi, in the last days I have processed around 30 WUs I guess, but my task list in my account is empty. Are processed work units deleted so fast from the database? |

If there are no errors, the workunits/results are deleted after 36 hours. M4 Project homepage M4 Project wiki |

Ok, thanks TJM. I guess because of the huge amount of WUs you are deleting them so fast? Would it be possible to have them longer in the database? |

The main reason is that the server has only 2GB of RAM and it's working with huge databases. All returned results are stored, old results are copied to archive but only after the batch is set as inactive. Results from running batches are frequently accessed by the server daemons and they have to stay in the 'live' database. I have to keep the BOINC part of database clean and as small as possible to avoid stressing the hardware too much. Even though the server was upgraded recently, the entire database still runs from a single drive. M4 Project homepage M4 Project wiki |
