Hi. I've been participating in enigma project for months with 2 host computers. Now im about to change and use processing time for some environmental projects, like hydrogen, climate, and stuffs like that. My problem is: Cannot detach enigma from project list. Im able to reset project, and set it not to download any more tasks, but detach button is not active :( What to do to detach project ? Anyone has an idea ? Thanks in advance for ur advices... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Don't hate the hacker ! If you attached through an account manager, such as GridRepublic or BAM!, you will have to detach through this, not through BOINC. Jord. BOINC FAQ Service. |

Upgrading to any newer version of BOINC won't reset any running work or project. It never has, so if you see this behaviour on your computer, you're either doing something wrong, or different than all the rest of us. No need to upgrade to 6.10.60, unless you have problems with your graphics / screen saver. Jord. BOINC FAQ Service. |

No i dont have any problem, exept im not able to deattach enigma from project list. But i dont care bout it anymore, i set this project not to download any more tasks, so it wont make any difference :) I might set it back to active again in the future, when im done with all the green environmental projects :)) LOL Thanks for all the advices anyways. It really does sound like you attached to this project using BAM. If so, you have to detach using BAM. Dublin, CA Team SETI.USA |

Ok. You were right. Originally i've attached it through BAM ! Finally i could log into my BAM account, and removed Enigma project, by clicking checkbox, Remove. Updated, then synchronized client with BAM, but there is still the same situation. Enigma project not disappearing from project list, and detach button is not active, so i cannot detach it manually in client. Any ideas now ? :(( ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Don't hate the hacker ! Isn't BAM having some server issues at the moment? Probably best to go "no new tasks" for now, then try and detach again in a week or so. just a thought! |

Ok. Okay, if BAM is acting flakey, then here is the solution: From the manager, select Tools -> Stop using BAM. THEN you will be able to detach directly from the Manager. Then you can reconnect to BAM if you like. Dublin, CA Team SETI.USA |
