I was looking at my completed tasks list, and found that one of them seems to have made the reporting script choke and die. Task 22829347 is being reported as "completed" instead of "completed and validated", and its credit value reads like a double precision long int. When I click on the result link, the stderr output at the bottom says that it passed the validation check. Any ideas what might have happened? Thanks :) |

I think that the task was fine, because it's already removed from the DB by the purge daemon. Any task that failed will be listed longer (waiting for resends to validate). Perhaps it was a minor glitch or database corruption, unfortunately the server is running without any backup power source, so occasionally when the power goes down I get random errors in the DB. You mean no backup power like a generator, or no battery UPS? |
