Hi, One of my machines has reached the daily quota of 480 work units yesterday and was still not at 100% on Enigma project. http://enigma.no-ip.net:443/enigma/show_host_detail.php?hostid=1320 Do you mind leveling up this daily quota ? Thanks Edit : added information i am using your optimized app on all of my machines. |

Any chance of upping the wu's sent at a time limit? (Sorry don't know the correct terminology for this.) I would prefer to connect 1 to 2 times a day but being only allowed 1-3 wu's at a time to download. |

Ok, I'll change it later today. Due to some network/hardware problems I don't have access to the server right now. Update: set to 30 now, let me know if it's still too low. M4 Project homepage M4 Project wiki |

Both my Core2Duo and quad are out of work due to a quota issue saying they have reached daily limit of 2 and4 results respectively. Even 200 and 400 would be too few can this be raised to 200 per core/CPU |

Both my Core2Duo and quad are out of work due to a quota issue saying they have reached daily limit of 2 and4 results respectively. Even 200 and 400 would be too few can this be raised to 200 per core/CPU Both your Core2's have download errors. Perhaps it's better to check if they have problems (network, firewall, proxy, router) before asking if the quota is reset in any way, as when they continue to have download errors you'll just be trashing through the next 200 tasks without cause. Even 200 and 400 would be too few can this be raised to 200 per core/CPU And you haven't noticed that both these hosts returned a large number of invalid results ? http://www.enigmaathome.net/results.php?hostid=3433 That's why their quota dropped to 1/day. No I hadn't noticed. I have installed a fresh copy of the BOINC client and got rid of the optimised exe which obviously has ****ed up. |

Not sure if this is related. Joined the project a few days ago. Startled this morning to see that a large number of my work units had been marked "client error - Aborted by user." If I aborted anything, it was certainly not done on purpose. Any suggestions | advice, please? "Verloren ist nur, wer sich selbst aufgibt." |

Hmm, your WUs have a different Exit status(-233 (0xffffff17)), than normal self aborted WUs (-197 (0xffffff3b)). Do you use an Account manager like BAM? Looks like your PC was/is detached and retached from the projekt or you have reseted the project, this would abort all WUs - just a guess. |

Hmm, your WUs have a different Exit status(-233 (0xffffff17)), than normal self aborted WUs (-197 (0xffffff3b)). Do you use an Account manager like BAM? Yep, that seems likely. I have two Pentium 4s. One has no internet connection. I tried to set up Enigma under BOINC on it using a thumb drive sneakernet as an experiment. It didn't work. Rather than to waste the work units I received I went back to the machine on which I had downloaded to the thumbdrive to run the work there from the thumbdrive. Sounds as though if I set up a permanent presence on the machine with the internet connection (which I think I will do) there should be no more problems. Thanks very much for your help. :) "Verloren ist nur, wer sich selbst aufgibt." |

It's almost finished already, but a lot of workunits are still here in the output buffer, not yet synchronized with M4 server, so server_status info is not accurate. M4 Project homepage M4 Project wiki |
