Hi all, am I the only one rarely getting any tasks at all? been very slow the last few months - got an i7 3770k cpu and have been doing fairly ok but feels that the tasks are just "gone with the wind" - anyone ells?

I also have not received any tasks for several months. Don't know why. I'm working on Windows.

This project was once quite profitable (in terms of rewarding points), but I wonder if it makes sense to keep it in this project.

Am in the same boat. It was working up until several months ago and have not been able to get one single WU (whether GPU or CPU) since.

I run this application on my simple HP laptop with an i7 processor. Tried both resetting and re-attaching the project but to no avail. My other projects I donate CPU time to is working fine, just not this one.

None of you have an AMD GPU attached to the project.

I have 10 NVIDIA GPU's on this project and they are all currently receiving work.

Me too, have been with this project for six years but have had no work for many many many moons!! I used to receive consistent work in the early days, but sadly just can't get anything at all. Does the project still exist, or should I just disconnect now?

Do you need an AMD GPU to get work? I don't have one, mine is NVIDIA and has worked fine in the past.

I got all the GPU tasks I wanted just a day or two ago. That's on an Intel CPU, Linux, nvidia gtx1050. I think many other GPUs don't have a version built for them, and CPUs are more or less orphaned as well.

I think the operator (one single person who does this as a hobby) is both very busy with real life and reasonably satisfied that a handful of GPUs are doing much more work than the entire project did a couple years ago. For the entire lifetime of the project minus the last year it did about 25000 total CPU years of work. Since the GPU version it's up to 175000 in just a few months.

So, don't be bitter that you're not getting work here. If you want to do DC and you don't get work here, just give your work to some other project. The poor guy running this project doesn't owe it to us to provide what we want. It's volunteers all the way down.

Thanks, that puts some perspective on why I have had nothing for possibly years now.
