I had to cancel a Cuda task today. I'd been away from my machine for a while and when I returned it was nearly unusable. The mouse would respond only in a jumpy fashion.

My settings were for BOINC to stop when the machine was in use. I opened Task Manager and found a Cuda running. I then suspended Cuda and waited a minute but to no avail. I tried aborting the task to no avail. I went back to Task Manager and killed the task there and immediately the PC began responding.

This is of course a deal breaker as far as my meager participation goes. If it happens again I'll have to drop out of Enigma. Hope you can fix it.

Now that I'm looking around a bit on the forum, not only is there no admin response to this issue but, although I haven't looked at every thread, I don't see anything from any admin in the past 6 months.

I thought it looked like an interesting project but if they don't have the resources to do it right, then I don't have the time to help.

this started to happen today for me, its very annoying if you actually want to use your computer for something else.

and there doesn't appear to be consistency over this, 1 set of WUs from g4-vroln72-2, 5 of the WUs in the set did that, 1 was fine
