Maximum number of OpenCL GPU tasks

Nope, there is no limit, unless you have changed the setting in your project prefs, as there is an option to limit number of tasks. I also have a cc_config.xml in my BOINC directory with <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus> which I had to do for other projects.
