Looks like we livened up the place (a bit).

I sold my old Pentium III 550 MHz machine on eBay around the start of the year. It was a good, solid machine and I was kind of sad to see it go. I had used it for my daily work/play at home for almost 8 years.

I still use a PIII-1.0 GHz on my desk at work, where we also have around 100 Pentium II 233 MHz computers that are still used quite frequently. For most daily things, such as internet email and Office older tech still works just fine, but patience levels have decreased as processing speeds have gone up.

Yup, also got a 566 Celeron, jut put it op for giggles.

Just after SETI@home started I tried it on a 25MHz 486SX with 4MB memory.
It sat paging and doing software FP math for 28 days without reaching a checkpoint.
